Early Careers
Schools Engagement
For secondary school students we have partnered with Ivybridge Community College, supporting their STEM programme.
GCSE Work Experience
Each July we run a GCSE week highlighting the different roles at Plessey and giving an insight into the industry. Through a series of hands-on workshops and job shadowing, students will gain an understanding of what is required to work at Plessey. 2024’s programme will take place from 8th to 12th July.

A Level Work Experience
Our A-level programme is open to students who are taking Maths and a Science/Engineering subject. Each summer we offer a tailored week of work experience specialising in the student’s chosen field.
Apprenticeships
For those finishing up their studies and wanting to advance their career, we have an excellent apprenticeship programme. Providing a strong platform to develop knowledge and skill set, helping kickstart what we hope is a long and thriving career with us.
Graduates
Our Graduate programme for Engineers runs over two years and offers training and support, as well as opportunities to work across a range of placements within the business.
